  • "The trainers and the people that you are working out with all want to see you succeed and reach your goal. You don't find that in to much gym. What the staffs and owners are doing at this gym is superb. All others should follow cause It works! You not only build a great professional relationship with the people you meet in there but they become your friends. You lose weight, you build muscle, you gain confidence and you have fun. Ps I miss Sally Up and Down challenge. I miss you guys from Cassie!!"

  • "Weston fitness is a wonderfully friendly atmosphere with clean equipment and wonderful classes. My personal favorites are IntenSati (Sunday morning and Thursday evening), INSANITY, and PiYO with Amy Fox. She teaches some fabulous daytime classes too, but my schedule only allows for weekends and evenings most times. I have to say, every class I have taken at Weston has been great on all levels!"

This isn't the most luxurious or biggest gym in the world, but I love it. My company has a corporate membership, so I get to reap all the friggin benefits for free - so how can I complain?

There's plenty of locker room space and although small, I am always able to snag the machine I want. I've never showered here so I can't chime in about that.

The best part of this gym are the classes. From spin to piloxing to yoga to zumba, I love them all! The instructors know what's up. All classes are complimentary with your membership except the Revolve classes and they also accept ClassPass!

Pretty simple review here, I came to Weston starting in February because Chris switched from PSC to Weston. Signed up for a 6 month training program with Chris, results have been amazing so far. Best trainer in the city, and I have tried several.

For the gym itself, my only complaint/suggestion is that they need a stair climber.

Everyone I have met that works there is very friendly and nice, good equipment, cool on demand/internet options instead of TV's on the machines, I prefer it.

I have not tried any classes, but people seem to enjoy them.

This really is a nice gym and in a good location. Price-wise, it's average (that's a good thing). Nowhere near the $100+/mo that Bellevue charges.

Easily the best part about this gym is Max's kettlebell classes. They're fun, tough, and will turn you into a Russian gladiator in no time. If you have no KB experience, though... You'll need a 1-on-1 with a trainer before attending (for a variety of good reasons, including safety). Thankfully, all new members get one of these for free!

The place is clean, the trainers/instructors/staff are all really nice, and the people going to the gym are nice. This isn't a bro-club kind of place.

The only thing that this place needs is an additional erg, and for the chain/flywheel on the erg they have to be greased up. But hey, that's minor.

I am really a fan of the group training sessions. That is all that I do. I started in the large group training session and now I am in the smaill group training. I use to worry myself to DEATH, near tears, on the day of each large group session. Then I was running there, looking forward to being drenched in sweat. The process is stunning. I feel pretty strong in my frame. Box jumps use to be nearly impossible. Now I look forward to doing them, kind of. LOL.

Of course Scott saw that I was smiling too much, so he increased the torture by inviting me to small group. Now I worry myself about this one. This is just my 3rd week and I can really see progress. In both group training he watches your form and makes sure that you are being safe and maxing your potential. He encourages you, and makes it interesting.

Yes I did sign up for October. I cant believe that I am still here.

I am having a great experience at Weston. (Just don't tell Scott or the torture may increase.) The group training is excellent!

Great location, nice staff who all know you by 1st name, and great classes. My only suggestion would be to have one class on a saturday or sunday for those who want to do kettlebell on weekends. Management seems open to customer feedback. I've tried MySportsClubs before and while nice -- it is wicked expensive. WF is reasonable.

I became a member at Weston right at the beginning of the year 2012. After evaluating Sweat, Philly Sports Club, and the Weston, I decided the Weston was the best fit for me. There are so many class options which is really necessary in my world. Particularly, the location is wonderful and there are so many more classes at the Weston than PSC on Market Street. Even Sweat doesn't have as many options, and while I can appreciate the additional facilities that Sweat has among the various gym locations, I know myself well enough to know that I won't be going very far out of my way to work out. The lack of weekend classes at the Weston is a downside, but I have found a routine that is working for me with other activities during the weekends and classes during the weeks.

Just walking into the Weston, I had a better feeling than any other gym I've found in Philadelphia. I guess if I had been given the impression it was some fancy schmancy health club, I would be disappointed too, but the Weston is plenty big with lots of equipment. It isn't state of the art, but I dont want to pay state of the art prices either and the Weston's membership fees are quite reasonable. The classes really are top notch. I had a schedule for working out in mind when I joined and as I tried more classes, I found the classes that I love the most and switched my routine. I found so many I liked that I am sad to miss the classes I can't attend, but the ones I go to are my most favorite and get me excited to even be at the gym.

The classes alone make the Weston deserve a five-star rating, but the one thing lacking, and the thing that originally made me give them only 4-stars, is the shower facilities. The women's dressing rooms don't have any sort of ledge or chair even on which to put your shower stuff down. It bothers me immensely. And I hear the men's locker room has a communal shower; that would be a dealbreaker for me, so hoooray for being female. The showers are such a minor detail to such an otherwise wonderful gym.

    Redo the showers, Weston!

So, if you're considering working out here, definitely look around and take note of the things you will use or appreciate. Personally, the Weston's priorities align with my own and I've been extremely happy with my decision to join!

I really wish I had discovered this gym earlier, its in a really convenient location for anyone living in center city west.

Equipment at the gym is pretty standard as far as gyms go, I like how the premises are not too big but it's never crowded. It's a small enough gym where you can get personal attention from the gym's owner Sandy if you need or want it. The trainers are all pretty knowledgeable when it comes to various training methods and diets.

The BEST aspect of the gym are the classes they offer, they offer amazing kettleball classes as well as fun cardio classes. My only complaint is that some of the classes are only offered once or twice a week, I would go 5 times a week if i could!

I've been working out at Weston since I got my first job out of college 10 years ago, and though I don't love working out so much, I definitely love this gym. I consider the instructors and people working there to be like family. When I was overseas for 6 mos, i missed the gym as much as my real family. Employees always greet you with a warm smile and no one is pretentious. There are also no meat heads here, and people are there just to work out, not work on getting dates.

They are always running great fitness classes and there's never a wait for the cardio machines. It looks great as it just underwent remodeling, and it's always clean. It's the best gym in the city, and in 10 years, they've never given me a reason to think otherwise.
